⛳️ Best 9-Hole Stableford Score = Chase Points
With the 2026 Club Championship coming up this weekend, we’re expanding Men’s Night to a three-day window and giving everyone a choice of tees. Scores may be submitted on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from the Gold, White, or Blue tees — ideally the tees you plan to play during the Club Championship!
Here’s how it works:
- Each player may submit one official Front 9 Stableford score and one official Back 9 Stableford score during the three-day window.
- The two nines may be played on different days or as part of the same 18-hole round.
- Your higher of the two nine-hole net Stableford totals will become your Points Chase total for the week. The usual placement-based points system (e.g. 30 Chase Points for 1st, 25 for 2nd, and so on) will NOT apply this week.
- Each counting nine must be declared before teeing off on that nine. Once declared, the score must be submitted. Please clearly mark each player’s tee selection on every submitted scorecard.
For example, if you score 16 Stableford points on the Front 9 on Wednesday and 18 Stableford points on the Back 9 on Friday, you’ll earn 18 Points Chase points for the week. And if you only have time to play and submit one nine, no worries — that score will count!
Stableford Scoring:
- Net Double Bogey or higher: 0 points
- Net Bogey: 1 point
- Net Par: 2 points
- Net Birdie: 3 points
- Net Eagle: 4 points, and so on.
Competition Rules for Men’s Night 9/16-9/18
- For this week, all Men’s Night competitors may submit one official Front 9 score and one official Back 9 score. Your higher of the two nine-hole net Stableford totals will become your Points Chase total for the week.
- Men’s Night rounds may be played at any time on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday with an accompanying MGA member. Please record gross scores for all holes on scorecards with names and tee selections clearly marked and turn in completed cards to the Pro Shop.
- We will be playing the ball DOWN EVERYWHERE with the exception of bunkers. If your ball ends up in a bunker, you may lift, clean, rake and place within the bunker, one club-length, no closer to the hole.
- Balls marked on the green may be replaced to the side of any aeration holes, “Dollar Spot”, dead patches, “Crabgrass” weed patches, and/or fungus/disease, no closer to the hole. Additionally, “Dollar Spot” areas, dead/diseased patches, or “Crabgrass” weed patches on the green may be considered Ground Under Repair from which putting-line relief may be taken, no closer to the hole. The maximum relief distance for putting green relief is one club-length from the current ball position on the green.
- Bare areas larger than one club-length in your own fairway (or connected to your own fairway), bare areas immediately adjacent to cart paths, and tire tracks should be considered Ground Under Repair. DROP within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole. Additionally, netting in re-sodded areas, drain trenches, exposed rocks added as topper for drainage systems, and unmown and/or sunken areas (“sinkholes”) in the 13th fairway should be considered Ground Under Repair from which free relief may be taken, no closer to the hole.
- Tall grass and unmaintained sections of the course may be played as penalty areas. These areas include: the hill between the cart paths for the 4th and 5th holes, right of the 7th hole fairway, the hill between the 7th and 8th holes, surrounding the back and left of the 11th green, right of the 13th fairway and surrounding the 13th green, right of the cart path on the 14th hole, on the hill between the 14th and 16th holes, right of the 15th hole and surrounding the 15th green. In the case you do not find your ball in these areas, follow the standard red penalty area dropping procedure.
- This week’s format allows for the completion of rounds that are valid for handicap posting purposes. Men’s Night scores must be posted promptly to your handicap account. Any player who places but has not posted will have their score disqualified from placement consideration.
