On a 10/10 weather day at NGC, a Chicago-showdown played out on the Back 9 yesterday. After all the points had been tallied, one player was able to surpass his hurdle and reach positive points. With a closing birdie on #18, Weston Happ ended with +1 Chicago total and took home the W for this week.
Men’s Week 10/6-10/11 Results — Stableford Front 9
20 players submitted scorecards during our open time window (10/6-10/11) for Front 9 rounds to be played. After all the scores had been collected, 2 players came out on top with impressive Stableford tallies of 20 points. Well played to Micah Busbee and Bruce Sedlak on their shared Men’s Week victory!
Another truly memorable night is now forever in the NGC history books! Before we recap, we have some wholehearted thank yous to send out for all those that made our Night Golf event a great success. First and foremost, thank you to all the NGC staff who gave us such a magical night. To Tsehaye, Donnee, Mimi and all her F&B staff, Christine, Tiffany, Rahel, and everyone who works to make NGC what it is for all of us, we are so thankful. An awesome dinner followed by great times on the course is exactly what we all love about NGC. A huge thank you goes to Leo Goff who’s idea, dedication, and hard work made Night Golf and the fellowship that ensued a reality for a second year in a row. We salute you sir! Glow balls lit up the dark while birdies and eagles flew in the 2023 playing of NGC Thursday Night Golf® last night. With real-life shot-tracer-mode activated, all shots earned oos, ahs, and lots of laughs. Several teams reached deep into red figures but, when all the glow-shots had been struck, one team stood atop the leaderboard with a net total of 24.55. Well played to the team of James Hsiao, Adam Miller & Silas Nichols — And cheers to all on a fantastic night!

For our 1-day, 80-point events (Play It Again, 2-Man Team Shamble, NGC Cup), 1 low points-earned tournament has been dropped with our Closing Day Stableford (10/28) still to be played.
The same applies to our multi-day / major tournaments (Match Play, Memorial Cup, RW&B, Club Championship) where 1 low has been dropped with Stearns Cup (10/14-10/15) still to be played.
Match Play points have been awarded through all current matches played and, for those who continue to advance, points will be updated as the remaining matches are completed.

Men’s Night 9/14 Results: Net & Gross, White & Blue — Front 9
23 players came out yesterday for a Net & Gross challenge on the Front 9 and 2 men walked away with 1st place points. With a very impressive net 32, Colin Zoski took the W on the net leaderboard. And, with a great round of 2-under 34, James Hsiao took home the victory on the gross side. Well played gentlemen!
19 players came out yesterday to team up with themselves and go low with the help of Player B. In the end, Torey Diggs and Adam Miller came out on top with impressive net 29s. Well played gentlemen!
22 players came out last Thursday to try and make as many pars or better as possible on the Front 9 and some great scoring was the result. In the end, with 2 net eagles and a very impressive points total of 19, Steve Naugle took home Men’s Night win. Well played Steve!
