Memorial Cup
Over the weekend, this year’s edition of our Memorial Cup turned out to be a great one. Before we get to the results, we’d like to thank Tiffany, Meilani, and Danny for their help in the Pro Shop, and all of our MGA members for coming out and making the weekend a success.
Most importantly, we play this tournament as a way to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and to honor the women and men who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We hope everyone is able to enjoy the holiday with the people they love.
Our course may be far from perfect, but the little things like E9s after tournament play and “No Wake” zones are the kind of things you just can’t find anywhere else. And that’s something worth remembering, too.
Tournament Results
On the Net side, 36 holes were not enough to crown our champion, and an exciting 3-hole playoff followed regulation play. Chuck Roster and Andrew Neill, who both finished at -4 net, headed back out to #1 with a very interested gallery in tow. After tying the first two holes, Andrew was able to secure the victory on #3 and take home the championship. Well done, Mr. Neill!
In the Gross competition, Jared Powell started the day with a one-shot lead and left no doubt by the time he was done. Jared fired a stellar 2-under par 70 on Sunday, turning a narrow advantage into a dominant 7-shot victory. It was an impressive closing round under tournament pressure and a well-earned win from start to finish. Well played, Jared, and congratulations on capturing the 2026 Memorial Cup Gross Championship.

Handicap Score Posting
We ask that all players post their own scores to GHIN from the Memorial Cup as Competition Scores from White Tees (as the selected tee box for posting) for Round 1 (May 16th) and Gold Tees (as the selected tee box for posting) for Round 2 (May 17th). All tournament postings will be double checked for all players.
