Throughout the MGA season (April through October), all MGA Men’s Nights and Tournaments are worth Points Chase points that accumulate for each MGA Member. The tally of all points accumulated works very much like the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup and, at the end of the year, credit book prizes are awarded to the top finishers in the season’s Points Chase.
For Men’s Nights, the maximum number of points awarded to the winner each week is 30 and, for the entire year, your 5 lowest scoring weeks (or weeks you missed) will be dropped from your final tally. For our 1-day, 80-point events (Play It Again, 2-Man Team Shamble, NGC Cup, Closing Day Stableford), 1 low points-earned tournament will dropped from counting. The same applies to our multi-day / major tournaments (Match Play, Memorial Cup, RW&B, Club Championship, Stearns Cup) worth a maximum of 110 points each where 1 low in terms of points earned will be excluded from your overall total.
