23 players came out yesterday for a Chicago showdown on the Front 9 and, despite the threat of rain, we ended up having a great evening with lots of post-round thoughts on the range. When all the points had been tallied, one man used 4 birdies to surpass his hurdle by 5. Finishing at +5 Chicago points, Weston Happ took home the Men’s Night W this week.

With 2 gross eagles on his card and an epic descent through a manhole cover to find his ball, Royce Huffaker took home a memorable victory. Men’s Night 5/30 — Shootout Front 9

We had a fantastic turnout of 29 players yesterday for our 1st Shootout of the 2024 season and everyone got to experience hitting an opening tee shot under pressure! After a few passing showers, 6 players made birdie on #1 which left a 9 for 3 chip-off amongst those who made par to see who advanced to #2. Once the advancing 9 players were set, some exciting golf followed on holes 2 through 8 with theoretical lefty shots, chip-offs, sandal swings, and a missing 3-wood. In the end, it came down to James Hsiao and Ted Pearson on #9 and, with a stellar up-and-down from the front fringe to a back pin, Ted walked away with the Shootout victory. Well played sir!
