18 players came out for a Chicago battle on the Back 9 yesterday and some very good gross scoring ensued which led to some impressive net Chicago tallies. When all the points had been counted, one man smashed through his hurdle to reach +4 Chicago points. With 4 birdies on the Back and a round of 35, James Hsiao took the well earned victory and 1st place points this week.
One of the greatest nights in recent NGC history is in the books—truly one that will not be forgotten any time soon. Before we recap, we have some wholehearted thank yous to send out for all those that made our Night Golf event a great success.
First and foremost, thank you to all the NGC staff who gave us such a magical night. To Mary Ann, John, Christine, Chef Lois, Donnee, Basil, Jada, and everyone who works to make NGC what it is for all of us, we are so thankful. Fantastic food followed by great times had by all on the course is exactly what we all love about NGC.

Night Golf Results
Glow balls lit up the night and the birdies were flying as 40 players took to the NGC Night Golf Course™ last night. With real-life shot-tracer-mode activated, both good and bad shots alike earned oos, ahs, and lots of laughs. The pond on #9 literally glowing became the 2nd best pond pond story of the night and a glow-stick skeleton roamed the fairways. Several teams reached deep into red figures but, when all the laser-shots had been struck, one team stood atop the leaderboard at -8 for the 9. With 2 eagles on #1 and #5 to go along with birdies on #3, #10, #12 and #18, the team of Carlo Ross, Travis Henderson, Lloyd Stimson, Mark Mattis, and Weston Happ earned the bragging rights for the 2022 Night Golf season. Cheers to all on a fantastic night!

22 players came out on the 1st day of Fall for a Stableford showdown on the Front 9 and the elements corresponded with the change of season to a T (and a tee). When all the points had been counted, 2 men scored impressive 20 point tallies to share 1st place honors this week. Well played Jack Sullivan and Steve Naugle on the Men’s Night win! We’d also like to congratulate Patrick Escalambre on shooting his age on the Front 9 on his birthday, Happy Birthday sir!
16 players came out yesterday for a Chicago battle on the Back 9 and only one man surpassed his hurdle to reach positive points. With an impressive +3 Chicago tally, Kevin Dick took home the Men’s Night victory as we move into Club Championship weekend.

15 teams took to the Front 9 on Thursday afternoon for some blind draw, scramble fun and 1 team came out on top. With an impressive net 29, Sam Bowmer & Jack Sullivan took home 1st place points and the Men’s Night victory.

When all the points had been tallied, all players who finished in the money matched or surpassed their Chicago hurdles and 3 men shared 1st place honors. Well played Kyle Armstrong, Adam Miller, and Weston Happ who all reached +3 Chicago points with under par rounds on the Front 9.
With a solid turnout that resulted in a waiting list for a seat at the table, another successful edition of post-Men’s Night poker was completed and, despite some reluctance to play in the first place, Patrick Escalambre ended the night with the big stack. Looks like the next week’s worth of tendies has been paid for…does the club take Venmo?
Men’s Night 8/11 Results — Choose Your Own Adventure RWB on the Back 9
27 players came out yesterday to see if they could crack the RWB code on the Back 9 and, when all the shots had been played, 33 was the magic number. With net scores of -3 for the nine, Phil Martin, Daryl Stone, Derek Ward, Adam Miller, and Sam Bowmer all shot 33 to share 1st place honors this week. Well done gentlemen!
After some extremely hot takes, Calvin “Klay” Harkless kept the heat rolling on the poker table to walk away as the big winner for the night. We can only hope he uses his $13 in winnings to buy some ice…which may also come in handy for the upcoming 1v1 fútbol matchup.
For Men’s Night this week, both the temperature and points tallies soared and, in the end, one man stood alone atop Mt. Stableford. With a very impressive 5 birdies on the Front 9, Jim Prendergast kicked off August in style with 23 Stableford points, beating the storms and the field to take home the victory.
