Men’s Night 8/6 — 1-or-2-Man Scramble Front 9
Nine teams of 1 or 2 came out yesterday for a Scramble showdown on the Front 9. The format offered two strategies: team up and debate which shot to use, or play solo and enjoy unanimous decision-making.
When all the strokes had been counted, net 32 proved to be the magic number. Four teams reached the 4-under mark to share 1st place honors: solo scramblers Matt Nolan and Ed Clarke — who (we assume) agreed with every shot selection — and the two-man teams of Kristian Lacot & Kyle Whitehead and Jim Sussmann & Weston Happ, who proved that (2-Man) teamwork makes the dream work — or at least a net 32.
