Please record gross scores for all holes on scorecards with the card dated, names clearly marked and turn in completed cards to the Pro Shop.
Men’s Night 7/16 — Chicago Back 9
For Men’s Night this week, we’ll be playing our Chicago format on the Back 9. All players play from white tees and Rule of 75 players (age + handicap >= 75) may play golds. Please record gross scores for all holes on scorecards with names clearly marked and turn in all completed cards to the Pro Shop.
Chicago Format: Players start with a negative number of points (based on 18-hole course handicaps) then add positive points during their round. The idea is to get from the negative to the positive, clearing your “hurdle” by as many points as possible.
Match Play Next Round Deadline: Sunday, August 2nd
The deadline for our Main Bracket Round 2 and Wildcard Bracket Round 1 matches has been extended to Sunday, August 2nd. Please be in touch with your opponent ASAP about scheduling your match. Contact [email protected] or call the Pro Shop (301) 292-1100 if you need your opponent’s contact information.
If your match has been completed, please make sure the results have been reported to [email protected] so we can update the online brackets.
One important note as matches continue deeper into the season: Match Play is intended for active NGC members through the conclusion of the tournament in October. If your membership plans have changed and you do not expect to remain a member through that time, please let us know and, as a courtesy to the bracket and the remaining players, allow your scheduled opponent in the current round to move forward. We certainly understand that circumstances can change and appreciate everyone’s help keeping the tournament moving along fairly and smoothly.

2026 Red, White & Blue Tournament 🇺🇸
Sign-ups continue for our second MGA major of the year, the Red, White & Blue Tournament, which is set to be played Saturday and Sunday, July 25th + 26th with a 9:30 AM shotgun start both days. Please sign up via the online registration portal.
The format for our RWB Tournament is 2-day, 36-hole, individual stroke play with both gross and net prizes. Each day the course will be set up with a different combination of red, white, and blue tees. To compete in the NET division, all players must meet the MGA 2-in-30 handicap posting requirement.
MGA Red, White & Blue: Saturday and Sunday, July 25th + 26th
