Men’s Night 6/11 — Shootout Front 9
Sixteen players came out yesterday afternoon to take their shot at one of the MGA’s most cherished traditions: the ultimate elimination challenge, the Shootout. Here’s hoping our little course can survive its own elimination challenge and keep standing long enough for many more Shootouts to be contested.
After every shot, putt, and tie-breaker chip had been played, one man was left standing. In a fitting finish to the night, Mr. Will Keyes completed a quest for a Shootout victory that had been a long time in the making, surviving every challenger and closing the competition in style with a walk-off birdie to seal the win. Well played and congratulations to Will — you’re a Men’s Night Shootout champion!
